To create the polar graph you put in several equations to make the flower shape. One equation you use is this, r=acos(n*Theta). The next equation you would put in would be r=asin(n*Theta). To change the size of the graph and shape of the graph you change "a" and "n".You should get a cool looking flower graph. To create the spiral you see on the graph you use the equation r=theta. Then to change the size of the graph you plug in any number in front of Theta. Another graph you could create is a Limacon. The equation is r=a+bsin theta. When you graph that it should look like to circles, one inside of another. There are several different ways you could plug these equations in to get a cool piece of art.
